What is The Atlantis Agenda about?

The Atlantis Agenda opens with a discovery that shouldn’t be possible. In 2011, archaeologists Professor Richard Beaumont and Dr Vittoria DeLuca uncover two small glowing orbs buried in the ruins of Palmyra, Syria. The orbs are over four thousand years old — and etched across their surface are markings that look unmistakably like the world’s continental coastlines. Proof, if genuine, that an ancient civilisation knew the shape of the Americas three thousand years before Columbus was born.


Before the orbs can be analysed, armed men arrive and seize them. What follows pulls Eden Black into a conspiracy that reaches from the ancient pyramids of Teotihuacán in Mexico, to a hidden base on a jungle island off the coast of Belize — and deep into the question of whether the legend of Atlantis is not a legend at all, but a memory.


Running alongside Eden’s present-day mission are two historical threads: one following Alexander Winslow in 1990 as he hacks through the Amazon rainforest in search of a pyramid revealed by an earthquake, and one that will reframe everything the reader thinks they know about where Eden came from.

The two glowing orbs discovered in Palmyra are at the heart of the story. Made from an unidentified metallic material, they glow in low light and bear markings that closely resemble the world’s continental coastlines — knowledge that, at the time they were made, no civilisation on earth was supposed to possess. The Atlantis Agenda is book three, and it rewards reading in order. Threads that began in The Ark Files and continued through The Giza Protocol come together here in ways that will be far more satisfying if you’ve followed the journey from the beginning. That said, each book tells a complete story, and adventurous readers who start here will find plenty to enjoy — and a very good reason to go back to the beginning.
