How to Never Miss an Email from me!
Below are step-by-step instructions for ensuring you receive all my emails, based on your email provider.
Gmail
1. Desktop Instructions:
– Drag and drop any email from hello@lukericharsonauthor.com from the Promotions or Updates tab to the Primary tab
– Click “Yes” when asked if you want to do this for future messages
– Alternative method: Add hello@lukericharsonauthor.com to your contacts list by clicking the three dots menu next to the sender’s name and selecting “Add to Contacts”
2. Mobile App Instructions:
– Tap the three dots menu in the top right of any email from us
– Select “Move to” → “Primary”
– When prompted, select “Yes” to ensure future emails arrive in Primary
Apple Mail (iOS/iPadOS)
1. iPhone/iPad:
– Open an email from hello@lukericharsonauthor.com
– Tap the sender’s name at the top
– Tap “Add to VIP”
– Future emails will be starred and can be found in the VIP mailbox
2. Desktop Mail App:
– Click the sender’s email address
– Click “Add to Contacts” if not already added
– To mark as VIP, click the star icon next to the sender’s name
Outlook
1. Desktop/Web Version:
– Right-click an email from hello@lukericharsonauthor.com
– Select “Junk” → “Never block sender”
– For extra security: Add hello@lukericharsonauthor.com to your contacts
– Optional: Create a rule to move our emails to a specific folder
2. Mobile App:
– Tap the three dots menu on any email from us
– Select “Move to focused inbox”
– Choose “Move this and future messages”
Yahoo Mail
1. Desktop:
– Hover over or select our sender name
– Click “Add to contacts”
– To ensure delivery: Mark one of our emails as “Not Spam” if found in spam folder
2. Mobile App:
– Tap the three dots menu
– Select “View sender details”
– Tap “Add to contacts”
ProtonMail
1. Web Interface:
– Click the settings gear icon
– Go to “Filters”
– Create a new filter:
– Set condition: “Sender contains hello@lukericharsonauthor.com”
– Set action: “Move to Inbox” and “Mark as Not Spam”
AOL Mail
1. Desktop:
– Click on our email
– Click the three dots menu
– Select “Add sender to contacts”
– Mark as “Not Spam” if found in spam folder
Additional Tips
– Add my address to your contacts: hello@lukericharsonauthor.com
– Check your Spam/Junk folder occasionally
– If you use custom filters or rules, ensure they don’t accidentally archive our emails
– Consider creating a dedicated folder for our newsletters
