Where to buy my books
As well as buying right here on my website, you can get my books from all sorts of places – both real stores and online.
Where to Buy My Books
While my eBooks are available exclusively from Amazon, my stories are available in other formats from plenty of other places — including right here on this website, and free from libraries.
Wondering why eBooks are exclusive to Amazon? Scroll down and I’ll explain.
My Store
The best place to buy my books is right here, direct from my store. Paperback and some hardback editions are available at competitive prices, and the print quality is genuinely the best I’ve come across — I’ve ordered copies from every option out there, including Amazon, and my printers come out on top every time. That’s why I chose them.
Books are printed in the US, UK, Canada or Australia depending on where you are, which means you only pay shipping from the printer to your door — not halfway around the world. The printing company are also working on a link with an EU printer, which will make things much easier if you’re based there (hopefully that’ll happen soon).
A Few Other Stores
My books are listed on the following stores websites, where you can order. It’s unlikely they’ll hold them in stock, but they will be able to order them in at your local bookstore too.
Barnes & Noble (US)
Barnes & Noble (UK)
Waterstones (UK)
Bookshop.org
German bookstores? — get in touch and I’ll point you in the right direction.
Ask Your Local Bookshop
If you like to support your local bookshop, you’re in luck — all my books are listed on the distribution system that booksellers use worldwide. Just ask for:
The Ark Files by Luke Richardson — ISBN: 978-1-7393522-0-2
A full list of ISBN numbers is below.
Free From Your Local Library
Libraries are wonderful — and who doesn’t love a free book? My books may not be on the shelves of your local library just yet, but librarians can order them using the ISBN numbers below. Show them the list and they should be able to help.
They’re also available in eBook format in libraries. Getting the system set up on your eReader is very straightforward, and means you can borrow books free of charge (aren’t libraries great?!)
Why Are Your eBooks Only on Amazon?
Here’s where we address the elephant in the room. I know it’s a frustration that my eBooks aren’t available on all the great platforms around the world. But, my books are part of Amazon’s Kindle Unlimited programme, which lets readers enjoy them through a subscription service. I love that it makes my books accessible to thousands of readers at an affordable price — but the trade-off is that Amazon requires exclusivity. It was a hard decision, and one I review regularly.
